Eligibility Criteria — Poori Detail

Ports and Transport Department ke 8 September 2026 ke letter ke hisab se Diploma in Automobile Engineering ko bhi equivalent qualification mana gaya hai. Gujarat Maritime Board ke notification number GMB/HR/RR/21/PART-3/1734, dated 19 April 2025, me bhi yahi qualification di gayi hai.
Computer Aur Language Knowledge
Iske saath candidate ko basic computer application ka knowledge hona chahiye, jaise Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967 me prescribe kiya gaya hai. Saath hi Gujarati ya Hindi, ya dono, ka adequate knowledge zaroori hai. Ye dono conditions har candidate par lagu hoti hain, chahe wo regular advt se apply kare ya PwD special drive se.
Age Limit Aur Relaxation
Age 9 November 2026 ko count hogi. Minimum age 18 saal aur maximum age 33 saal hai. Relaxation Gujarat government ke rules ke hisab se milegi. Apni exact age check karne ke liye aap hamara Age Eligibility Checker use kar sakte hain — apni date of birth aur category daal kar turant pata chal jayega ki aap age limit me aate hain ya nahi.
| Category | Maximum Age |
|---|---|
| General candidates | 33 saal |
| General category women | 38 saal |
| Reserved category men | 38 saal |
| Reserved category women | 43 saal |
| PwD candidates | 45 saal tak, category aur rules ke hisab se |
| Ex-servicemen | Service period plus 3 saal ki relaxation, upper age limit ke upar |
PwD relaxation ka detail ye hai: General male PwD ko 10 saal, General female PwD ko 15 saal, reserved male PwD ko 15 saal aur reserved female PwD ko 20 saal ki relaxation milti hai, lekin sab cases me maximum age 45 saal par capped hai. Reservation ka benefit lene ke liye valid certificate aur domicile se judi conditions official notification me zaroor check karein.
Salary — Fixed Pay Aur Uske Baad Kya
Selected candidates ko shuru ke 5 saal ke liye fixed pay Rs 49,600 per month milega. Ye fixed pay period probation jaisa structure hai — 5 saal ki satisfactory service aur applicable government rules ke baad candidate regular appointment ke liye eligible hoga, Pay Level 7 ke under.
In-hand ki baat saaf shabdon me samajh lein: fixed pay period me salary hi Rs 49,600 per month hai, isliye in-hand bhi isi ke aas-paas rahega, sirf applicable statutory deductions katne ke baad. Notification ke sources me deductions ki koi fixed rakam nahi di gayi hai, isliye yahan koi andaze wali in-hand rakam nahi likhi gayi hai. Regular hone ke baad Pay Level 7 ki entry basic Rs 39,900 se aap apna estimate hamare Salary Calculator par nikal sakte hain — basic, DA aur HRA daal kar aapko ek realistic monthly estimate mil jayega. DA aur HRA posting aur us waqt ke prevailing rates par depend karte hain, isliye ek fixed in-hand figure claim karna sahi nahi hoga.
Ek note zaroori hai: kuchh portals par Level 7 ke pay band ki upper limit alag-alag likhi mili hai, isliye is article me sirf Pay Level 7 likha gaya hai, upper limit ka koi number nahi. Apne advertisement ki official notification hi final mani jayegi.
Selection Process Aur Exam Pattern
Selection ek competitive examination se hoga, jo MCQ format me CBRT ya OMR mode par conduct hoga. Uske baad document verification hoga. Is Class-3 post ke liye sources me koi interview stage mention nahi hai.
| Part | Subject | Questions / Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Part A | Reasoning aur Data Interpretation | 30 |
| Part A | Quantitative Aptitude | 30 |
| Part A | Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati aur English Comprehension | 30 |
| Part A Total | 90 | |
| Part B | Mechanical Engineering se juda subject aur uski utility | 120 |
| Grand Total | 210 questions, 210 marks |
Poora exam 3 ghante, yani 180 minute, ka hoga. Har galat jawab par us question ke marks ka one-fourth, yani 0.25, kat jayega. Qualify karne ke liye Part A me alag se 40 percent aur Part B me alag se 40 percent marks lana zaroori hai — sirf total me 40 percent lana kaafi nahi hai. Isliye dono parts ki taiyari barabar zaroori hai: Part A me reasoning, maths aur current affairs par focus karein, aur Part B me apne Mechanical subject ki depth par.
