• Saath me: UGC ya CSIR ka NET, ya UGC-accredited SLET/SET clear ho; ya UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2009/2016 ke hisaab se Ph.D. ho (to NET se chhoot).
• 11 July 2009 se pehle Ph.D. me registered candidates ke liye purane rules lagenge — unhe 5 conditions (regular mode, 2 external examiners, open viva, 2 research papers me se 1 refereed journal me, 2 conference presentations) poori karni hongi, Registrar/Dean se certified.
• Note: Jiss discipline me NET/SLET/SET hota hi nahi hai, wahan NET ki zaroorat nahi hogi.

Track B — Foreign Ph.D.

• QS, Times Higher Education (THE) ya ARWU (Shanghai) ranking me top 500 me aane wali kisi foreign university/institution se Ph.D. (kabhi bhi top-500 me rahi ho to chalega).

Specialization (preference milegi)

Digital Media, Electronic Media aur Media Production me specialization wale candidates ko preference di jayegi.

Marks Relaxation

• SC / ST / Differently-abled (physical aur visual) / OBC (Non-creamy layer): Graduate aur Master’s level par 5% marks ki relaxation (55% wali eligibility inke liye 50% ho jayegi).
• Ph.D. holders jinhone Master’s degree 19 September 1991 se pehle li thi: unke liye 55% se 50% ki relaxation.

Salary — Rs. 57,700 Per Month (Consolidated)

Selected candidate ko Rs. 57,700 per month consolidated milega. Ek imaandaar note: ye fixed consolidated amount hai — 7th CPC pay scale nahi hai, isliye isme DA/HRA wali badhotri nahi judti. In-hand lagbhag poora Rs. 57,700 hi milega (sirf PF jaise statutory deductions, agar apply hue, alag ho sakte hain).
