WBSSC SLST Kya Hai?
WBSSC SLST matlab West Bengal Central School Service Commission ka State Level Selection Test — ye West Bengal ke government aur government-aided schools me Assistant Teacher (Classes IX–X) posts ke liye selection process hai. Written test me shortlist hue candidates ko aage document verification, oral interview aur lecture demonstration se guzarna padta hai.
Honest Note — Ye Final Selection Nahi Hai
Is revised preliminary list me naam aane ka matlab sirf itna hai ki tumhe interview ke liye bulaya gaya hai. Final selection tabhi hogi jab original certificates ki physical verification, oral interview aur lecture demonstration clear ho jayein. Is list ko final merit list samajhne ki galti mat karo.
West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) ne “Revised Preliminary List of candidates for interview — 2nd State Level Selection Test (SLST) for Assistant Teacher (AT), 2025, Classes IX–X (GRAD category)” 12 October 2026 ko publish kar di thi. Official notice westbengalssc.com par available hai. Ye list isliye important hai kyunki isse pehle 12 December 2025 ko jo preliminary interview list nikli thi (jo 13 March 2026 ko amend bhi hui thi), use cancel karke ye nayi revised list release ki gayi hai. Revised list me kul 23,209 posts ke against lagbhag 22,028 candidates interview ke liye bulaye gaye hain.
List revise karne ki sabse badi wajah Calcutta High Court ka 14 September 2026 ka order (FMA 1002 of 2026) hai, jiske baad WBBSE ne revised vacancies (memo Admin/2321-B, 3 September 2026) release kiye. Is revision me OBC quota 17% se ghatakar 7% kar diya gaya hai, jisse general category me lagbhag 10% zyada candidates list me aaye hain. Iske saath Labour Department ka 25 May 2026 ka notification aur Backward Classes Welfare Department ke 18 May aur 7 August 2026 ke memos bhi is revision ka base bane hain.
