Engagement initial 3 saal ke liye fixed-term basis par hogi, jo satisfactory performance par 2 saal tak (1-1 saal karke) extend ho sakti hai. Annual increment performance se linked hai — satisfactory performance par 4%, significant contribution par 7% aur exceptional performance par 10%.
Eligibility Criteria (as on 01/10/2026)
All Indian nationals jo 23 saal ki age poori kar chuke hon, neeche diye gaye post-wise qualification aur experience criteria par apply kar sakte hain.
1. Civil Engineer (YP-3) — Upper Age Limit: 42 Years
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) ya equivalent, government-recognized university/institute se.
- B.E./B.Tech ke BAAD minimum 10 saal ka post-qualification experience — Civil Engineer ke roop me manufacturing industry, mining sector ya infrastructure development organization me civil work execution ka.
- Organization PSU / Government / Public Limited Company / PSU-Govt JV / valid CIN wali private firm hona chahiye.
2. Surveyor (YP-2) — Upper Age Limit: 38 Years
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech (Mining and Mines Survey / Mining Engineering), government-recognized university/institute se.
- Metalliferous Mines Regulations (MMR), 1961 ke under opencast working ke liye valid Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency.
- Minimum 6 saal ka post-qualification experience survey-related activities me (Central/State Govt organization, CPSU/PSU ya private firm me), jisme kam se kam 1 saal ka experience metalliferous opencast mines me mining survey ka ho.
3. IT Engineer (YP-1) — Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science and Information Technology) ya 3-saal ka full-time MCA, government-recognized university/institute se.
- Minimum 3 saal ka post-qualification experience — Computer Networking, server ya database management, IoT, data handling/dashboard, ya web building and development me, kisi Govt/PSU/reputed private company me.
4. Electronics Engineer (YP-1) — Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech (Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and Instrumentation / Automation ya Instrumentation Engineering).
- Minimum 3 saal ka post-qualification experience — VFD/PLC/SCADA/soft starters/digital protection/automation/instrumentation me, Central/State Govt company, PSU, public limited company ya private firm/JV me.
Processing Fee
Processing fee Rs. 500 hai, jo SB Collect ke through pay karni hai — 1 October se 21 October 2026 (11:45 PM) tak. Bank charges extra lagenge, aur fee kisi bhi haalat me refund nahi hogi. Sirf fee pay karne se application consider nahi hogi — due date tak email par application bhejna zaroori hai.
Selection Process
Selection CBT (Computer Based Test) aur Personal Interaction, ya sirf Personal Interaction ke through hoga — ye eligible candidates ko admit card/call letter, email/SMS aur SAIL website par bataya jayega.
- CBT: 100 multiple-choice questions, 90 minutes — 50 technical/professional knowledge + 50 aptitude test.
- Personal Interaction: CBT merit par har grade ke liye 1:3 ratio me shortlisting. Final merit CBT (80%) + PI (20%) ke weightage par banegi.
- Agar selection sirf Personal Interaction se hua, to minimum qualifying marks 50% honge.
