RRB Section Controller CBT Exam Pattern 2026
Section Controller ka CBT ek hi paper ka hoga:
| Particulars | Details |
|---|---|
| Total questions | 100 |
| Total marks | 100 |
| Time | 120 minutes (2 ghante) |
| Negative marking | Har galat jawab par 1/3 mark katega |
| Exam mode | Computer Based Test (CBT) |
Section-wise Marks Distribution
| Section | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Analytical & Mathematical Capability | 60 | 60 |
| Logical Capability | 20 | 20 |
| Mental Reasoning | 20 | 20 |
Sabse bada section Analytical & Mathematical Capability (60 marks) hai — aadhe se zyada paper yahi decide karega. 1/3 negative marking hai, isliye tukke maarne se bacho — sirf un questions ko attempt karo jinme confident ho.
Qualifying Marks (Category-wise)
| Category | Minimum Qualifying % |
|---|---|
| UR / EWS | 40% |
| OBC-NCL | 30% |
| SC | 30% |
| ST | 25% |
PwBD candidates ko reserved vacancies ke against 2 marks ki relaxation milti hai.
Section-wise Syllabus Guide: Kya Padhna Hai
RRB ne section-wise weightage official notification me diya hai. Har section me kis type ke questions aayenge, ye raha:
1. Analytical & Mathematical Capability (60 marks)
Sabse bada section — basic mathematics aur analytical reasoning par based. Number system, percentage, ratio-proportion, time-speed-distance, average, profit-loss jaise basic maths topics aur data interpretation type ke analytical questions par focus rakho. 60 marks yahi se aayenge, isliye is section me speed aur accuracy dono chahiye.
2. Logical Capability (20 marks)
Logical reasoning — statement-conclusion, coding-decoding, series, analogy, direction sense jaise standard reasoning topics. Roz practice se ye section scoring ban sakta hai.
3. Mental Reasoning (20 marks)
Mental ability aur reasoning — puzzles, seating arrangement, blood relation, syllogism type questions. Time management yahan important hai kyunki har question par zyada time nahi milega.
Taiyaari tip: 120 minute me 100 questions matlab har question ke liye lagbhag 1 minute 12 second. Mock test me isi speed par practice karo — aur negative marking ko dhyaan me rakhkar accuracy pehle, attempt baad me.
Shift Timings Aur Reporting Time
CBT har din 3 shifts me hoga. City intimation notice ke hisab se expected schedule:
| Shift | Reporting Time | Exam Time |
|---|---|---|
| Shift 1 | Subah 7:30 baje | 9:00 – 11:00 AM |
| Shift 2 | Subah 10:30 baje | 12:00 – 2:00 PM |
| Shift 3 | Dopahar 2:30 baje | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
Reporting time se kam se kam 30 minute pehle center par pahunch jao — entry band hone ke baad andar nahi jaane diya jayega. Tumhari exact shift aur reporting time admit card par likhi hogi.
Exam Ke Din Kya-Kya Le Jana Hai
